| Your statement was that lower aspect ratio = wider tread, and I flat out disproved that. Not only did I find blatant counter examples where lower aspect ratio = narrower tread, but I found several examples where differing aspect ratios had no impact on the width (the first three)... from that, we can conclude (and I can't believe I have to state this again) that aspect ratio has no impact on tread width. I didn't contradict myself at all; the different tread width is purely a result of variability in manufacturing two different size tires. Get over it. If you'd like, I can do a statistical analysis of several different tires and show that there is insignificant evidence to suggest a correlation between aspect ratio and tread width. But the fact that we have examples where aspect ratio changes result in not only no change, but an increase and decrease in tread width would be CLEAR ENOUGH evidence for any logical human being.
